BREVE
Bazaar of short and vertical cinema
BREVE invites you to create short films, up to 1 minute long, shot on cell phones in vertical format.
We're interested in social commentary with sarcasm, humor, controversy, unexpected endings, lentils, blackberry juice, and cheesy old-fashioned music.
Invite your family and friends to participate and use your cell phone creatively. Film is a tool, and so is artificial intelligence.
Let's talk about the river, religious double standards, street and mountain sports, garbage, the neighborhood, the pedestrian block, family dramas, rural life, raising children, a life free from violence, machismo, consumerism, xenophobia, and bland soup.
We will accept your one-minute films until February 7, 2026, and the festival will take place at La Bellecera in Piedecuesta, Santander, on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The 20 best one-minute films will each receive a jar of figs and 500.000 Colombian pesos.
