The purpose of the Bogotá Music Video Festival is to celebrate the art of music video, the joy of music and the passion for filmmaking.

We bring the music video art to different screens around Bogotá and top that with live music, exhibitions and academic and industry events. We want to showcase independent and fierce work to new audiences, focusing on the potential of awe brought by the communion between music and moving images.

Music videos released after June 1st of 2025.

The participant understands the BMVF (Bogotá Music Video Festival) rules and guidelines and agrees to adhere to them accordingly.

The participant agrees to abide by the decisions of BMVF, it’s staff and judges with regard to all matters and decisions.

By signing the entry form the participant agrees to allow the non-exclusive exhibition and promotional use of any sent materials by BMVF for noncommercial uses without any kind of fee payment or economic compensation.

By sending their material, the participant guarantees to be the creator of the work or to hold its distribution, exhibition licensing rights and other permits along with the music use rights and declares to be responsible for the fulfillment of any legal rights requirements releasing BMVF from any legal claims, liabilities and damages arising out of their failing to do so.

The accepted participant understands that their failing to comply with these requirements or to provide BMVF with the adequate material necessary for the screenings can lead to their dismiss from the program.
