Entries are open to both UK and international filmmakers based outside the UK with two separate tiers of submission.

Films must have been completed in the past 5 years.
You can submit your project to more than one category.

Although the festival does not impose any premiere requirement on the filmmakers. The Breaking-TV Film Festival encourages and supports world premiere, UK Premiere and International Premiere at the festival.
An invitation-only screening for family, cast and crew wouldn’t jeopardize the premiere status.

Step 1: First cut
Your project will be evaluated for originality, quality and authenticity to move forward step 2. Your project will also be checked to verify if it is eligible for the festival.

Step 2: Promotion
If your project passes step 1, we will start promoting your project on the Breaking-TV network and on social media.

Step 3: Project in Competition
(At this point you are already eligible to start earning money with your project on the Breaking-TV platform).

Step 4: Official selection
The official selection and nominees 2021-2022.
Your project will be uploaded to the Breaking-TV network. The Breaking-TV audience will be the judges, voting for the projects they like the most: Your project is now in the final running for the winner.

Step 5: Winners announcement
