The International Festival of University Short Films ''CINESTESIA FEST' is an international cultural space that was born in 2017 at the Los Libertadores University Foundation, located in Bogotá, Cartagena, Colombia.

The main objective is to offer spaces to new audiovisual filmmakers and students affiliated to a University from any country in the world, to be able to exhibit their projects, generate ties of recognition and reflection, the training of audiences. It stands out, among other things, having international guests of high prestige such as the nominees for the Goya awards (Mario Campoy, Nacho Rui Pérez, David Desola, Jose Luis Pechorroman, Jonas Trueba) the Colombians (Harold trumpeter, Miguel Urrutia, Aida Morales, Santiago Henao, Jaime Manrique, Jose Alejandro González, Andrés Valencia, Laura Gutiérrez and Jimena Prieto) among others

The Festival annually takes place in the month of October in Bogotá and Cartagena, Colombia, granting the statuette called Kinesthesia recognition to international university talent.

Rules & Terms
GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Registration is free
2. Entries may only be made through the media or channels of the festival (Film Free way). I don't know they will receive registrations outside the indicated platform.
3. The filmmaker, producer and/or person responsible for the registration may apply for more than one short film or filminute.
4. The product must be a student project created between 2023 and 2024.
5. Only short films that meet the general conditions of the festival will participate.
6. The university you represent must appear in the credits.
7. You can participate in two categories: Filminute Category with a time from 0 minute to 1 minute or Short film Category with a time from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. It will participate in their different formats: fiction, documentary, animation, or the format that you want.
8. The project must be conceptualized in the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Environmental or Social concept. https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/

MATERIAL SELECTION

- The selection of the shorts or audiovisual material will be made by a commission and curatorship, appointed by the direction of the national and international festival.
- The organization of Cinestesia will reserve the right to exhibit, in any media, fragments of the participating works for the purpose of promoting the festival.
- The festival may withdraw or discard at any time during the festival a short or audiovisual product that does not comply with the festival's standards or has provided false information at the time of registration.
- The act of registration for the Cinestesia university short film festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.
- If the short film has been selected, the director of the short film will be notified so that he can send a certification from the university that I corroborate that it was made in the indicated period and is an active student or recent graduate.
- The selected short films must have the download option for the official sample of the festival.
