CINETEKTON is a cultural project whose main objective is the exhibition and promotion of contemporary, author cinema that is produced locally, nationally and internationally.

CINETEKTON will be held from SEPTEMBER 18 to 27, 2025 in the City of Puebla and alternative exhibition spaces in some states of the Mexican Republic and invites filmmakers to register their documentary works

Thematic interests:

Documentary: City. Urban Planning, Heritage, Architecture, Resilience, Gentrification, Mobility, Identity, Environment, Human Rights, Social Movements, Design, Urban Art, City and accessibility.

BASES

REGISTRATION AND SELECTION

Films produced from January 1, 2022 to date may participate.
One or more films per director may be entered and only one of them will be selected.
The call will be open from December 2, 2024 to March 28, 2025
Film registration can be done through the digital platforms: Filmfreeway, Festhome and the following questionnaire: (link)
Submitted films must be presented with Spanish subtitles when the source language is other than Spanish. Materials that do not meet this requirement will receive a caption request notice. If this requirement is not met by the delivery deadline, they will be automatically discarded.




OF THE DIFFUSION

The selected films will be part of CINETEKTON's video collection
The Festival may use fragments of the films for its promotion.
The selected films are eligible to be part of the festival's national and international traveling exhibitions, subject to mutual agreement between the parties.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

When you register and send the film, CINETEKTON! considers that whoever registers the film has read the call and accepts the rules.
