Comicron is a unique experience in the international scene, as it is devoted exclusively to short audiovisual productions belonging to the comical genre. The Comicron seventh edition aims at confirming the original meaning of the kermesse, which is the discovery of new talents and the pursuit of an evolution in the cinematographic language, promoting the short film as an autonomous expressive form. Comicron Film Festival was founded by Ugo Gregoretti.

The Short Films will be evaluated by a qualified committee composed by directors, actors and cinema operators. They will choose the winning shortfilms and their decision will be unquestionable.
For their admission, the shortfilms will have to meet the followin requirements:
- comic shortfilms only;
- national and international;
- they must have been produced after 1st January 2019
- duration max 15 minutes (credits and end credits excluded)
- the works in foreign languages must have Italian subtitles.
Subscription is free of charge. It will be possible to join the festival from 1st April 2022 to 30th June 2022 (except in case of further extension of the deadline)
The selected films will be communicated through the social channels of the Festival. Finalists will be contacted by email from the official email address below.
