Festival start: 12 December 2025      Festival end: 13 December 2025

Everything begins with an idea, a line, a movement — a spark born on a sheet of paper, that comes to life and starts to move.

It’s this magic that Bellecour École and Filmoramax have decided to celebrate together through a student animation film competition, entirely dedicated to the young talents who will shape the cinema of tomorrow.

Behind this project lies a shared ambition: to offer a stage to the new generation of artists, allowing them to express their vision, tell their stories, and reveal to audiences the emotional power of animation.
This competition is much more than a contest — it’s a meeting point:
between the school and the festival, between students and professionals, between passion and the future.

Throughout the day, participants and the public will dive into the world of animated creation through inspiring masterclasses, exclusive screenings, and an award ceremony celebrating the most promising talents.

The masterclasses will take place at Bellecour École, a place of learning and transmission where tomorrow’s creators are shaped every day.
The screenings of the competing films will be held at UGC Confluence, bringing the audience to life through the rhythm of student imagination.
Finally, the day will conclude where it all began — at Bellecour École — with the award ceremony and a closing gala marked by sharing, creativity, and celebration.

Two distinctions will be awarded:

Audience Award, reflecting the emotions and favorites of the audience.

Grand Jury Prize, presented by a panel of animation film professionals, offering the winner a one-year UGC subscription for two people — to keep nurturing their passion, film after film.
