FESTIVAL CORTO CORTISMO DE MIGUELTURRA (13)

The final phase of the National Competition will take place from November 20th to 23rd, 2025, and is open to short films produced and/or directed by, and/or produced by, a technical team from Spain. This means that anyone can participate individually or as part of any of these collectives.
Submitted works must be original and may address any fiction topic. Finalists and/or award-winning works from previous editions of the "Corto Cortismo" competition are not eligible.
Works must have completed production after October 1st, 2024.
SHORT FILM AWARD, worth €500 + a commemorative competition award, awarded to the best fiction short film, judged by the audience.
• SPECIAL JURY AWARD, worth €300 + a commemorative competition award, awarded to the short film chosen by the Festival Jury for its cinematic technical qualities. This award is also open to all other festival categories.
• SPECIAL AWARD FOR BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR, worth €300 + a commemorative competition award, awarded to the short film deemed by the Festival Jury to have the best female directorship. This award is also open to all other festival categories.

The final phase of the National Documentary Competition will take place from November 20th to 23rd, 2025. Documentary short films produced and/or directed by, and/or with a technical team from Spain are eligible to participate. This means that anyone can participate individually or as part of any of these groups.

Submitted works must be original and may address any topic. Finalists and/or award-winning works from previous editions of the "Corto Cortismo" competition are not eligible to participate.

Works must have completed production after October 1st, 2024.

The final phase of the Animation Competition will take place from November 20th to 23rd, 2025, and is open to short films produced and/or directed by, and/or technical teams from Spain. This means that anyone can participate individually or as part of any of these groups.

Only one short film per producer and/or director and/or technical team will advance to the final phase of the competition.
Submitted works must be original and may cover any fiction or documentary theme. Finalist and/or award-winning works from previous editions of the "Corto Cortismo" (Short Film Festival) are not eligible to participate.

The works must have completed production after January 1st, 2024.

The Regional Competition will take place from November 20th to 23rd, 2025, in its final phase. Short films produced and/or directed by and/or a technical team from the Region of Castilla-La Mancha are eligible to participate. In other words, anyone can participate individually or as part of any of these groups. The management of the "Corto Cortismo" Festival will verify the ties to the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha of the submitted works.

Only one short film per producer and/or director and/or technical team will advance to the final phase of the competition.
