Festival description (Edition: 2)

Festival start: 19 December 2026 Festival end: 19 December 2026

Cult Archive Fest provides independent filmmakers with an international platform to showcase their work, reach new audiences, and build valuable industry connections. Our mission is to promote independent cinema and celebrate outstanding works by emerging and established filmmakers from around the world.

This year, Cult Archive Fest returns for another live event at the museum's historic theater, located within the Caliwood Museum in Cali, Colombia. Dedicated to preserving the history of cinema, the museum houses an extensive collection of film archives, historic newsreels, vintage filmmaking equipment, and artifacts documenting the evolution of photography and cinema. Beyond the screenings, the festival offers a welcoming setting for dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and genuine networking opportunities.

Submit your short film and join this celebration of cinema. Finalists will have the opportunity to take part in our annual awards ceremony.
