Daejeon International Haru.The festival begins in 2022 and will be held as the second film festival this year.It is a film festival that discovers and introduces excellent works produced at home and abroad, and we will introduce various works and directors.
There are two sections for the contest.

1. Short Film Contest Section 1. Short Film Contest
Targeted for short films of 20 minutes or less. of is to introduce or movies to the audience.The purpose of the festival is to introduce interesting or touching movies to the audience.Waiting for a fun movie.

2. Short form contest section 2. Short form contest
Target images from 15 seconds to 3 minutes. can be uploaded on YouTube, and vertical videos are so A video that anyone can enjoy is enough.Don't miss the opportunity for your video to be shown in a big movie theater!


대전국제하루영화제는 2022년 시작되어 올해 제2회 영화제로 개최됩니다. 국내외에서 제작된 우수한 작품을 발굴, 소개하는 영화제로 다양한 작품 및 감독을 소개할 것입니다.
출품공모는 2개의 섹션이 있습니다.

섹션1.단편영화 공모
20분 이하의 단편영화를 대상으로 합니다. 영화제의 취지는 흥미롭거나 감동적인 영화를 관객에게 소개하고 싶습니다. 즐거운 영화를 기다립니다.

섹션2.숏폼 공모
15초에서 3분 사이의 영상을 대상으로 합니다. 유튜브에 올려져 있어도 무방하며 세로 영상도 가능합니다. 누구나 즐겁게 감상할 수 있는 영상이면 충분합니다. 당신의 영상이 커다란 영화관에서 상영할 수 있는 기회를 놓치지 마세요!

2nd Daejeon International Haru.Regulations for Entry to Competition at the Film Festival


Organization
The Daejeon International Day Film Festival (DIHFF) is hosted and organized by the Daejeon Film Association's Shin Young-sai.

purpose
DIHFF actively discovers and introduces excellent short films produced in Korea and around the world, and contributes to the diversity of works and the development of local films.DIHFF aims to introduce and award various and excellent short films produced after January 2022 to the audience through screening in the competition sector.To this end, such regulations are established for understanding and consultation on entries between film festivals and exhibitors.

The second DIHFF will be held in Daejeon in early November 2023.

Exhibition information


Short films and short form completed after January 2022
a short film with a running time of 20 minutes or less
Shortform not more than 3 minutes of video (original and link submission)
No theme or genre restrictions.
Running time is based on the time including the ending credit, and other film festivals and award-winning films can also be submitted.

The screening video can be submitted without English subtitles.
The screening video must be the same content as the actual movie to be screened, and this video is not returned.
When applying for entries, the screening and award-winning experience of the film festival must be indicated.

The selection of works is made under the responsibility and authority of the DIHFF program team and a separate preliminary committee.
The selected works in the competition sector will be announced and individually notified on the DIHFF website on September 27, 2023.
The selected works in the competition category will be screened in the second DIHFF competition category, and the screening cannot be canceled.

Use promotional materials
DIHFF can produce videos using works selected for competition and use them to promote film festivals.Provided, That in such cases, the length of the selected works used in the promotional video shall be limited to not more than 30 seconds.
The submission materials of the selected works are used as promotional materials for the catalog and homepage of the second DIHFF.

Submission and return of screenings
Screenings for screening must be submitted to DCP or MOV (ProRes 422), and other format screenings are exceptionally possible if the exhibitor obtains prior consent to DIHFF.
There must be English subtitles in the screenings of Korean works and non-English lines.
The screenings must arrive at the DIHFF Secretariat by October 13, 2023.(Shipping fee borne by the exhibitor)
The screening shall be returned to the address designated by the copyright holder or distributor of the selected work within four weeks after the festival closes.However, digital screenings submitted online will not be returned.(Transportation fee borne by film festival)

Archive
In principle, in the case of selected works in the DIHFF competition category, it is necessary to collect a copy of DCP or digital format after consultation with the copyright holder or distributor for use in screening after the festival.Copies of the works subject to the archive will be kept for one year after the festival and destroyed thereafter.
If the copyright holder or distributor does not agree, the archive will not proceed.

screening after the festival
DIHFF's winning films and screenings can be screened at domestic and foreign screenings hosted and organized by DIHFF after the film festival.However, in this case, DIHFF must obtain a prescribed permission for screening through consultation with the copyright holder or distributor.
After the festival, DIHFF may act on behalf of the distribution of screenings through the Internet and other media.However, the Daejeon International Day Film Festival must proceed by signing a separate distribution agency contract through consultation with the copyright holder or distributor.

DIHFF is deemed to have agreed to the entry regulations as soon as the person who owns/acting for the copyright of the entry completes the registration of work information and video submission on the online entry site.

Other
The exhibitor must directly resolve the copyright related to the screening of the submission, and the exhibitor is fully responsible in the event of a copyright problem related to this.In the event of a copyright dispute, screenings and awards may be canceled.
The schedule and screening method of the film festival may be changed due to force majeure reasons.In this case, DIHFF notifies the exhibitor of the changes.If any changes occur after the selection of the competitive sector is confirmed, DIHFF informs the copyright holder or distributor of the contents and consults.
DIHFF and the exhibitor have the right to decide on matters not included in the above regulations through consultation.


제2회 대전국제하루영화제 경쟁 부문 출품 규정


1. 조직
대전국제하루영화제(이하 DIHFF)는 대전영화협회 씬영사이가 주최•주관한다.

2. 목적
DIHFF는 국내 및 전 세계에서 제작된 우수한 단편영화들을 적극적으로 발굴, 소개하고 작품의 다양성과 지역영화발전에 기여한다. DIHFF는 경쟁 부문의 심사를 통해 2022년 1월 이후에 제작된 다양하고 우수한 단편영화를 관객들에게 소개하고 시상하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 영화제와 출품자 간 출품에 관한 이해와 협의를 위해 이와 같은 규정을 두고 있다.


3. 개최일자
제2회 DIHFF는 2023년 11월 초 대전에서 개최된다.

5. 출품안내

<출품 조건>
- 2020년 1월 이후에 완성된 단편영화 및 숏폼
- 러닝타임 20분 이하의 단편영화
- 숏폼은 3분 이하의 영상(원본 및 링크 제출)
- 주제, 장르 제한 없음
※ 러닝타임은 엔딩 크레딧을 포함한 시간을 기준으로 하고 타 영화제 상영 및 수상작도 출품할 수 있다.

- 감독 사진 1장, 스틸 사진 3장, 포스터 1장(스틸 사진으로 대체 가능)

※ 심사용 영상은 영어 자막이 없어도 제출 가능하다.
※ 심사용 영상은 실제 상영될 영화와 반드시 동일한 내용이어야 하며, 이 영상은 반환하지 않는다.
※ 출품 신청 시 영화제 상영 및 수상 경력을 표기해야 한다.

6. 작품 선정
1) 작품선정은 DIHFF 프로그램팀과 별도의 예심위원단의 책임과 권한 아래 이루어진다.
2) 경쟁부문 선정작은 2023년 9월 27일 DIHFF 홈페이지에 공고 및 개별 통보한다.
3) 경쟁부문 선정작은 제2회 DIHFF 경쟁부문에 상영되며, 상영을 취소 할 수 없다.
4) 경쟁부문 출품작은 비경쟁부문에 상영될 수 있다.

7. 홍보용 자료 사용
1) DIHFF는 경쟁부문에 선정된 작품을 활용한 영상을 제작해 영화제 홍보에 사용할 수 있다. 단, 이 경우 홍보 영상에 활용되는 선정작의 길이는 30초 이내로 제한한다.
2) 선정된 작품의 제출자료들은 제2회 DIHFF의 카탈로그와 홈페이지 등에 홍보 자료로 활용된다.

8. 상영본 제출 및 반환
1) 상영을 위한 상영본은 DCP 또는 MOV(ProRes 422)로 제출해야 하고 다른 포맷 상영은 출품자가 DIHFF에 사전 동의를 얻을 경우 예외적으로 가능하다.
2) 한국어 작품과 영어 대사가 아닌 작품의 상영본에는 반드시 영어 자막이 있어야 한다.
3) 상영본은 2023년 10월 13일까지 DIHFF 사무국에 도착해야 한다. (운송료 출품자부담)
4) 상영본은 영화제 폐막 후 4주 이내에 선정작의 저작권자 또는 배급자가 지정한 주소로 반환한다. 단, 온라인으로 제출한 디지털 상영본은 반환하지 않는다. (운송료 영화제부담)

9. 아카이브
1) DIHFF 경쟁 부문 선정작의 경우 영화제 이후 상영에 활용하기 위하여 저작권자 또는 배급자와 협의 후 DCP 또는 디지털 포맷의 사본 소장을 원칙으로 한다. 아카이브 대상작의 사본은 영화제 이후 1년간 소장하고 이후 파기한다.
2) 저작권자 또는 배급자가 동의하지 않으면 아카이브를 진행하지 않는다.

10. 영화제 이후 상영
1) DIHFF의 수상작 및 상영작은 영화제 이후 DIHFF가 주최·주관하는 국내외 상영회에서 상영 할 수 있다. 단, 이 경우 DIHFF는 반드시 저작권자 또는 배급자와 협의를 통해 상영을 위한 소정의 허가를 얻는다.
2) DIHFF는 영화제 이후 인터넷 및 기타 매체를 통해 상영작의 배급을 대행할 수 있다. 단, 대전국제하루영화제는 반드시 저작권자 또는 배급자와 협의를 통해 별도의 배급 대행 계약을 체결하여 진행한다.

11. 동의
DIHFF는 출품작의 저작권을 소유/대행하는 자가 온라인 출품 사이트에 작품정보 등록 및 영상 제출을 완료함과 동시에 출품규정에 동의한 것으로 간주하며 그 효력을 갖는다.

12. 기타
1) 출품자는 출품작의 상영과 관련된 저작권을 직접 해결해야 하며, 이와 관련된 저작권 문제 발생 시 출품자가 전적으로 책임진다. 저작권 분쟁이 발생할 경우 상영 및 수상을 취소할 수 있다.
2) 불가항력의 사유로 영화제 일정 및 상영 방식이 변경될 수 있다. 이 경우 DIHFF는 변동 사항을 출품자에게 공지한다. 경쟁부문 선정작이 확정된 이후 변동 사항이 발생할 경우 DIHFF는 저작권자 또는 배급자에게 내용을 알려 협의한다.
3) DIHFF와 출품자는 협의를 통해 위의 규정에 포함되지 않은 사안에 대하여 결정할 권리를 갖는다.
