The DarknessCon Film Festival started off as the Idaho Halloween & Horror film festival and is now operating in all locations that the DarknessCon Conventions run at different locations across the country.

Prizes and qualifications

Awards will be presented for;

- Best of Festival
- Audience's Choice
- Best Feature Length (50 minutes of longer)
- Best Short (49 minutes or less)

Rules

DarknessCon accepts original film submissions from horror, thriller, suspense, anime, pop culture and science-fiction genres.

- Film submissions must be submitted via digital file.

- Film must be in English or have English subtitles.

- You may submit multiple entries however each entry requires an individual submission and submission fee.
