Festival start: 25 October 2019      Festival end: 26 October 2019

Desmond District Demons is a horrifying competition of films that takes place in the Historic (and Haunted) downtown Port Huron, Michigan. The first Desmond District Demons Film Festival in 2016 proved to be a rousing success, and every seat in the house was taken. Year after year we aim to expand and improve our festival for attendees and filmmakers alike. We will also still dedicate a block to spotlight locally Michigan Made Films.

Awards will be given for Best Short, Best Feature, Audience Choice (Short and Feature Categories), Most Original Short, Scariest and Best Michigan Made Short.
(Non Cash awards)

Film must be of the Horror Genre
Films must be in English or include English Subtitles

Films must be delivered via Vimeo, Youtube, or Festhome for submission. If selected, you must provide a downloadable file in .mov format for exhibition

We will take a look at films from any completion date, even if its 1975, we will still consider it.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
