Horror short films international competition, fantasy and science fiction


BASES

The International Short Film Festival will be held in Cintruénigo from October 28th to November 1st, 2025.

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
All those production national and international short films, shot on celluloid (35 mm or 16 mm formats) or video (in any of its forms) will be accepted in competition.

-The gender should be horror, fantasy or science and fiction.

-Its duration must not exceed 20 minutes (including credits).

-Production date must be later than January 1st, 2023.



CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

-Each participant may submit the number of movies you want.

-The delivery of films will be made using the online platform: Festhome

-If the film is selected for the competition, has requested a copy (or link of download) with sufficient for screening quality short.

-Works will be presented in their original language. In the event that this is not Spanish (Castilian), must have subtitles in Castilian.

-The deadline for reception of the films is September 28th, 2025.

-May not be used the films that were
presented, selected or awarded at the previous edition.

-Between all the received works, the jury will select the films participating in the festival.


SCREENINGS AND awards

-Short films selected were public projection in the Avenue Center of Arts in Cintruénigo, Navarra, Spain.

-Award for the best short film: 600 euros and trophy.

-Award for best protagonist role: trophy and 300 euros.

-Jury Award: 300 euros and trophy.

-Award for the best local short film: trophy and 150 euros.

-Public Prize: trophy and 200 euros.

-Will select a qualified jury that examines the short films. Their decision is final.

Its decisions shall be notified to all selected and will be published on the Web, social networks and different media deemed the organization.

-Members of short films finalists will receive one night hotel for two people so they can attend the final gala of the festival.


SHORT FILMS & RETURNS

-A copy of each of the selected short films will be in the festival's archives.

-In the case of physical delivery of the film. each short film producer/director l is It will take care of your collection at the end of the festival, in case of failure to do so, these short films will be in the the festival's archives.


SHORT FILMS AND COPYRIGHT

-Participants renounce rights that may correspond to them by the screening of his short films during this Festival at the time of your registration.

-The Organization of the Festival requires that producers, directors or filmmakers that are they register at the Festival hold the rights of exhibition of the works presented. In any case, the Organization of the Festival declines any liability that might arise from the violation of this point of these rules.

-Cases not covered in these rules shall be resolved by the Organization of the Festival.
