The IX edition of the Elipsis University Film Festival will be held from May 20th to 31st, 2024, through youtube official FestiCineGye Filmotec and 4 local universities.

1.- Honorable mentions.

2.- Three films will receive direct passes to be part of the Guayaquil International Film Festival in the non-competitive section.

Work whose completion has been carried out from January 2022 to December 2023 may participate.

Films whose main language is not Spanish must be subtitled in this language, otherwise they will be disqualified.

Of the projects that are selected by the festival, the signatory is responsible for sending the film via the Internet in maximum quality, to the email: programming.elipsis@gmail.com
This version (if it is an updated version of the one you sent for the call) must reach our email no later than May 1st, 2024.

Registration for the festival is voluntary, therefore, the sender agrees to send us their film and not to withdraw it from the festival if it is selected.

The official selection and award have no appeal.

The festival accepts short films from 5 minutes to a maximum of 15 minutes in length. There is no exception for any category or gender. Unfinished work will not be accepted.
