Emerge Film Festival is non-profit incorporated in the state of Maine in 2014. The Emerge Film Festival brings a diverse selection of Maine-made, national and international films to the L/A area in the categories of documentary, short and feature length films. Emerge helps promote the motion picture arts to local and regional audiences, offers networking opportunities at the Festival’s various events and attracts visitors to the L/A community and the State of Maine.

The Emerge Film Festival is accepting film submissions for the 2015 festival. We are currently accepting all feature length over 60 minutes, short films under 60 minutes, and documentary films of any length.

DEADLINE

All film submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. EST on January 16, 2015.

Presentation Format: For screening purposes, films can be supplied in DVD, Blu Ray or Online supplied with the password.

Festival Notification: Final program determinations will be made by February 16th. You will be notified by the first week in March whether your film has been invited to screen with us or not.

Loss and Damage: Every precaution will be taken to safeguard all materials submitted while in the possession of the Festival. However, we cannot accept or assume responsibility in the event of loss or damage.

Important reminder for all Filmmakers’ Film submissions: If your film is accepted, invitations may not be sent until as late as the first week of March. Please provide all the requested contact information, especially where and how we may contact the Filmmakers themselves at that time!

DVD Submissions: DVDs must be in English or have English subtitles. Please send DVDs in a simple paper sleeve and print or clearly write with permanent marker the following information directly on the face of your disc: the film’s title, running time, and contact information (email and phone number).
