In the city of El Bolsón, since 2016, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Artistic Design (LDAA) at the National University of Río Negro (UNRN) have concluded their studies with a festival open to the community, a celebration of audiovisual encounters and making that is renewed each year. This is the Audiovisual Artistic Festival, or, simply and lovingly, the FAA!. An event organized and managed entirely by the students of the program, it has managed to sustain and position itself for 11 years as one of the most important audiovisual festivals in Patagonia.

FAA! Audiovisual Arts Festival calls for submissions of productions made by students, filmmakers, and creators from the Patagonian Region, the rest of Argentina, and abroad.

COMPETITION REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 21, 2026.

Our goal is to promote audiovisual works and build connections between different universities, schools, production companies, and filmmakers, fostering exhibition and discussion spaces open to the community.

The categories mentioned above must meet the following technical specifications:

Resolution: Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels)
Frame rate: 25 FPS (frames per second)
File format: .MOV or .MP4
Video codec: H.264 (standard compression for compatibility and good quality)
Maximum bitrate: 10 Mbps (10,000 kbps)
Important: Works in post-production stage will not be accepted. All pieces must be finalized and ready for exhibition.
