The National and International Film Festival of Los Llanos, reaches its 12th edition after having started in 2011, today it continues with its main objective, to seek and strengthen spaces for the diffusion and Venezuelan cinematographic training, incorporating for the first time in this denomination to the set of Latin American and Ibero-American cinematographies.

Competition rules:

1.- Carefully read the rules of the Los Llanos Film Festival 2024

2.- The works to participate must go through the pre-selection committee to be evaluated and those responsible for each short will be communicated via email. OFFICIAL SELECTION

3.- Those selected must pay the registration fee of $15

4.- Each category may participate with (01) work

5.- The Llanos National Film Festival will take place from May 29 to June 1, 2024.

6.- The Llanos National Film Festival has (2) Categories to compete:

A.- BEST INTERNATIONAL FICTION SHORT FILM

B.- BEST INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM

8.- Classification of Works

We will rate Short Films based on an age system that allows us to evaluate their suitability for audiences based on themes such as sex, violence, substance abuse, profanity, recklessness, and other types of adult content. The categories are the following:

- A: Suitable for all audiences and all ages.
- B: Adults from 10 to 13 years old.
- C: Seniors from 14 to 18 years old.
- D: Seniors from 19 to 21 years old; No one underage or adolescent is admitted.
- E: Movies exclusively for adults, from 21 years of age.

9.- The works to participate in the Festival must be sent only to the Festhome Link platform: https://festhome.com/festival/festcinellano

10.- Deadline for submission of work: April 18, 2024.

11. The decisions of both the selection committee and the Official Jury will be final. The prizes awarded will be presented at the closing gala on Saturday, June 1, a place to be defined and broadcast on YouTube.
