The Incontrastable Film Festival is a space that promotes the dissemination of independent audiovisual works within the South American countries of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela. It also seeks to bring these independent productions closer to the general population, promoting critical cinema that contributes to the development of a much broader and more inclusive cinematographic culture.

The Incontrastable Film Festival is a festival that was born in the city of Huancayo, in the central area of ​​Peru. Our 3rd edition will be held in person and online from November 15 to 25, 2024.

The call for films closes on October 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Peruvian time. The works can be of any theme, technique, and format. Completed from January 1, 2022 onwards. Films in a language other than Spanish must have Spanish subtitles.

All filmmakers, cultural managers, professionals or amateurs who have a production and meet the aforementioned requirements may apply, without being limited by the group, collective or organization to which they belong. Applicants may submit up to 02 works as a maximum in each category.

The works will be evaluated by the festival jury, who will choose the films that will be part of the official selection and, finally, the winners.

The festival includes the following sections:

⮚ INTERNATIONAL FICTION FEATURE FILM COMPETITION

● The Producer and Director of the audiovisual work must belong to one of the South American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela).

● Feature-length fiction films may be submitted. The subject matter, technique and production format are free and without restrictions.

● In this category, works with a duration of more than 60 minutes will be considered.

⮚ NON-FICTION FEATURE FILM COMPETITION - INTERNATIONAL

● The Producer and Director of the audiovisual work must be from one of the South American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela).

● Non-fiction, documentary and experimental feature films may apply. The subject matter, technique and production format are free and without restrictions.

● In this category, works with a duration of more than 60 minutes will be considered.

⮚ FICTION FEATURE FILM COMPETITION - NATIONAL

● The Producer and/or Director of the audiovisual work must be Peruvian.

● Fiction feature films may apply. The subject matter, technique and production format are free and without restrictions.

● In this category, works with a duration of more than 60 minutes will be considered.

⮚ NATIONAL NONFICTION FEATURE FILM COMPETITION

● The producer and/or director of the audiovisual work must be Peruvian.

● Nonfiction, documentary, and experimental feature films may apply. The subject matter, technique, and production format are free and without restrictions.

● In this category, works with a duration of more than 60 minutes will be considered.
