The San Isidro Young Film Festival is an initiative whose aim is to give visibility to independent short films created by young filmmakers. We are aware of how difficult it is to gain recognition in the film industry, as well as the frustration that this situation can generate. Therefore, the FCSI offers a platform for all young filmmakers in the province of Alicante to have the opportunity to present their projects to the public.

Cash Prizes: 520€

1. Best Short Film Award (Trophy and €120)

2. Second Best Short Film Award (Trophy and €100)

3. Audience Award (Trophy and €75)

4. Best Director Award (Trophy and €75)

5. Best Performance Award (Trophy and €75)

6. Best Short Film with a Social Theme Award (Trophy and €75)

For a short film to be accepted by the festival, it must comply with the following RULES:

1. Short films must have a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

2. Directors must be aged 30 or under.

3. Short films must have been shot entirely or partially in the province of Alicante.

4. There is no limit to the number of short films that can be submitted per person.

5. subtitles are not mandatory for short films, although they will be taken into consideration when selecting the works.

6. If the short film is in a language other than Spanish (Valencian, english, etc.), Spanish subtitles are mandatory.

7. All genres and styles are allowed as long as all the above rules are followed.


SUBMISSION AND DOCUMENTATION:

1. The short film can be submitted either through the Festhome.com platform.

2. In addition to the video file, a high-quality image of the director's identification document (NIF, NIE, etc.) must also be submitted.If you have any questions, please contact festivalcine@sanisidro.es.
