The Secretariat of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario, through Punto Audiovisual, invites you to participate in the 30th edition of the Rosario Latin American Film Festival that will take place from June 5 to 15, 2025, in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.

The Festival has four competitive categories:

- Feature Film Competition

- Santa Fe Feature Film Competition

- Short Film Competition

- Rosario Short Film Competition

AWARDS
The festival awards a diploma and a statuette to the winning films in each competition.

The award-winning films may be exhibited according to the Festival's programming criteria.

No prize will be deserted.

No shared prizes are awarded.

The Jury's ruling is final.

All unforeseen cases will be resolved by the organization.

RULES AND CONDITIONS

. Feature films and short films from Latin America made between 2024 and the closing date of this call for entries are eligible.

. The duration of the feature films must be equal to or greater than 60 minutes.

. The duration of the short films must be up to 25 minutes including titles and credits.

. Feature films and short films that have not been part of the programming of previous editions of the Festival are accepted.

About registration

. The works can be registered until 11:59 p.m. (Argentine time) on Friday, March 28, 2025 through the platform www.festhome.com

. The file must be uploaded with a .mov or .mp4 extension, a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 px, H264 encoding with a quality of up to 5 GB for short films and up to 20 GB for feature films, without a watermark. The file must be available for download for the purposes of selection.

. Registration for the festival is free. Non-Argentine works will pay the fee set by the Festhome platform.

. Works in a language other than Spanish must be subtitled in Spanish. It is recommended that they not be subtitled in other languages.

. The quality of the file sent must be checked at the source, guaranteeing audiovisual readability. If this requirement is not met or technical failures occur that prevent its viewing, the film is automatically disqualified from the competition.

. Works registered by distributors must provide contact information for the film's management and/or production.

. The person who registers the work authorizes the free use of up to ten percent (10%) of the same for the promotional exhibition of the Festival.

. The works that do not comply with the requirements set forth in these rules will not be registered. Likewise, the Festival will resolve in a final manner any eventuality not specified in these regulations.

About the selection

. All registered works are evaluated by a Selection Jury that will determine the feature films and short films that will be included in the Competitions.

. The festival does not pay screening fees.

. Those works that are not selected for the Competitions may be invited to be part of a special program.

. The festival requests a screening copy of the selected works according to technical specifications that will be requested in due time.

. Priority will be given to those that have not been exhibited in the city of Rosario and are not available on VOD platforms until the closing of the festival.

. Once the feature films have been selected, the production of each film is asked for the Premiere status with which it will be exhibited at the Festival (International, National or Local Premiere), a condition that must be validated by June 15, the day the festival ends.

. The Festival appoints the Jury that awards the prizes for the Feature Film Competition, the Santa Fe Feature Film Competition, the Short Film Competition, the Rosario Short Film Competition and Special Prizes.

CINEMATECA

All the works presented are incorporated into the Cinemateca of the Secretariat of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario to integrate the Film Festival Collection, guaranteeing its preservation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The mere fact of participating in the Competition implies the tacit and total acceptance of the regulations.
