At the Villa de Orgaz Film Festival we are happy to tell you that we are going to start our first edition in the town of Orgaz (Toledo), giving shape to our illusion of being able to bring Culture closer to emptied Spain, and to be able to give to also get to know those young directors and actors.

The Festival will be held on the last weekend of February, with two viewing days and on the last day, awards ceremony and Closing Gala at the Auditorium of the Town.

Each participant may submit a maximum of two works, and they must have been produced after 1st January 2021.

The duration may not exceed 15 minutes.

The decision of the selection committee is final.

The selected films must be submitted. In the following format:

The festival will also assume the return of the projection copies (pen-drives, hard disks or optical supports), only when they are sent within the national territory.

Selected films will have to pay the corresponding fee of 15 € in order to participate in the festival.

The selected films will be screened in public sessions in the designated place, at the times and on the dates that appear in the official programme of the festival or, where appropriate, as arranged by the festival organisers.

5. Jury

The Official Jury, made up of professionals of recognised experience in the field of culture, will be responsible for awarding the prizes.

The Jury may declare the categories it deems appropriate to be void, due to lack of quality or absence of works presented, or award prizes ex aequo, and its decisions shall be final.

The prizes will be awarded on the day of the Gala Awards Ceremony in the town of Orgaz, on 4 March 2023.
