The International Film Festival on the Island FECISLA, is a film event that has as its lines the identity and culture of African descent, childhood and youth and the environment, permeating and impacting from an educational and cultural process the majority of the native population of Fuerte Island and the diversity of visitors from different parts of the planet who come to our festival.
This festival is not competitive
The Festival Cine en la Isla will open public call in three sections for its 2023 version:
-Raíces de Mangle (National Short Film Selection).
Short films of Colombian nationality, with free theme and genre. With a maximum duration of 18 minutes.
PezLoro (Selection of Short Films for Children)
Short films made anywhere in the world by and for children and adolescents. Free genre and theme. Minimum length of 1 minute and maximum length of 15 minutes.
Selection of video clips (with ethnic and community themes).
Video clips of Colombian production that show the ethnic and community musical processes of the country.
The selected films will be screened in person at the 9th International Film Festival Cine en la Isla, Colombia from January 17 to 22, 2023.
