TODOS SANTOS FILM FESTIVAL (FCTS)
For the last 19 years it has been the only focus of Latin American film culture with an emphasis on Mexican and local cinema, in Baja California Sur (BCS).
The FCTS has been distinguished by the high level of its artistic, social and educational content; its national and international prestige and its community mission throughout the region. The competitive sections are judged by international juries of great professional prestige. Its ability to attract the national and international press has resulted in the award given by HFP (HOLLYWOD FOREING PRESS- Golden Globes) for its hierarchical programming and its community mission. Our programming includes feature films, documentaries, short films, exclusive premieres and also winners at international and national festivals. The presence of prestigious professionals, actors, directors and producers who have been honored (Diego Luna, Dolores Heredia, Maria Novaro, Daniel Gimenez Cacho, Tenoch Huerta, Ana Serradilla, Damián Alcazar, Kuno Becker, Gerardo Taracena, Carlos Bolado, Celso Garcia, Luis Alberti, Arcelia Ramirez, Kenya Marquez among many others) has positioned our festival and carried a dignified cultural image of our state, opening the doors of BCS to film projects and giving it a privileged place in the concert of Film Festivals in Mexico and internationally. Its activities, including its Film School, provide opportunities for collective participation between communities and schools, enriching local culture, promoting education, creating audiences and stimulating creativity. The FCTS is the meeting point for filmmakers and viewers who are enriched by a constructive dialogue.
The FCTS is an AC, non-profit organization, supported largely by volunteers and local patrons.
The winners of the Official Competition will be awarded with the Cactus de Todos Santos sculpture, produced by a renowned artist and a diploma that will accredit their victory in one of the official sections in competition.
The special mentions will grant a diploma that accredits it.
