1. - ESI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

This festival aims to promote the culture and film production both in the country and in the world.


2. - DATE OF THE CONTEST:


It will be realized on the 15 of December of 2024


3. - PLACE:


Buenos Aires, Argentina


4. - CATEGORIES OF THE CONTEST


_Short film: Official competition for Argentine and foreign works of any genre, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes including credits.


5. - GENERAL CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION


a) Works completed within the period of January 2022 to 2024 inclusive may participate. There will be a pre-selection of submitted works.

b) Registration for the festival will be done through the Festhome platform.

c) Once the work has been pre-selected, the holder must deliver a copy in HD format in the best possible quality for its exhibition at the festival.


6. - Jury


a) The jury shall be composed of personalities from the audiovisual, arts and national and/or international culture.

b) Persons directly related to the works in competition shall be excluded from jury membership.

c) The jury’s decision is final


7. - PRIZES


The Festival will award the following prizes:

8. - FORWARDING OF COPIES


a) The costs of sending the works shall be the responsibility of the registrant.


9. - COPY ASSURANCE


a) The Festival is not responsible for any damage or loss caused during the transfer of copies.

b) In case of serious damage or loss during the course of the contest and while it is in the hands of the organization, the latter will be responsible for the cost of replacing the copy, in the same format and quality as the copy received, provided that this situation is reliably reported by the person concerned during the event.

10. - NON-COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS


The received works that do not meet the general conditions of participation and pre-selection requirements will not be registered.


11. - ACCEPTANCE BASES AND CONDITIONS - ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS


Registration for the ESI International Film Festival implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and the transfer of the screening rights to the material presented for the purposes of the distribution of this edition, and future editions from the date of material selection.

Also, together with the signing of these terms and conditions, the owner/s of the work agrees to/n cede the rights to projection and reproduction thereof for the purposes of its exhibition at the ESI International Film Festival (in the national territory or abroad) as well as for their advertising.


12. - RIGHTS OF PARTICIPATING WORKS


1) The participants declare to be the sole and real owners of the audiovisual works presented at the festival, both in case of being the author or the transferee of the same. In case of falsity in the affidavit, as they do not appear to be the owners of the same, the responsibility for any third party claim will be exclusively of the participant who presents the work, without having anything to answer to third parties.

2) The participants declare that they have all the rights involved in the work.

3) The participants declare to leave the ESI International Film Festival unaffected by any claim regarding the ownership of the work and/ or lack of authorization with respect to the rights contained in them.


13. - MODIFICATIONS


The terms and conditions may be changed without notice.
