Festival Description

CULTURAL DISRUPTORS – Film Festival is an international platform dedicated to works that explore the boundaries of conventional narrative and challenge established consensus. We distance ourselves from closed schools of thought and from culture used as a tool for ideological dissemination.

We understand that traditional analytical frameworks have lost their relevance in explaining the complexity of the present. In an environment saturated with predictable narratives and uniform discourses, this festival was born to offer an alternative grounded in creative autonomy.

Our programming prioritizes cinema that challenges standards:
We reject official discourses, the moralization of art, and the pursuit of audience complacency. We seek films that operate in the space of friction, that contradict their own premises, and that understand culture as a process of constant questioning, not as a finished product.

CULTURAL DISRUPTORS is not a place for the confirmation of certainties, but for the discovery of new perspectives.

We champion ambiguity over dogma, contradiction over simplification, and risk over uniformity.
Here, cinema doesn't seek audience tranquility; it seeks to provoke thought and strengthen critical thinking.

Call for films: CULTURAL DISRUPTORS
The CULTURAL DISRUPTORS International Film and Documentary Festival is now accepting submissions for works that place independent thinking at the heart of creation.

We are looking for films that stray from conventional narrative formulas, that question pre-established cultural consensuses and that reject the instrumentalisation of art as a vehicle for moralising messages or closed discourses.

We are not looking for confirmation, we are looking for questioning.
We understand that today's culture often suffers from a predictability that limits critical capacity. This festival was created as an alternative to domesticated narratives, offering a space for works that are not afraid to explore the complexity of reality without simplistic solutions.

We welcome works that:
Challenge hegemonic narratives and standards of uniform thinking.
Avoid complacency and the use of intellectual slogans.
Embrace ambiguity, paradox and analytical rigour.
Challenge structures of authority and their supposed alternatives with equal acuity.
Refuse to offer comforting answers to the viewer.

We are not looking for thesis cinema or complacent cinema. We are looking for cinema that thinks.
We reclaim the big screen as a space for intellectual tension, discovery, and cultural disruption.

Short Description
