The Brazilian Film Festival Potocão aims to present the new Brazilian film production in an online festival format in order to break the geographical barriers of this continental country and share with the general public a quality national cinematographic content in an accessible and democratic way.
BEST MOVIE, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST PHOTOGRAPHY, BEST SOUND TRACK, BETTER EDITION, BEST ANIMATION, BEST DOCUMENTARY.
1) GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1) The Scapcine Festival of Brazilian Cinema (Scapcine Festival) will perform its first edition from 26 to 30 December 2019. The festival aims to present the new Brazilian film production in an online festival format in order to break the geographical barriers of this continental country and share with the public a quality national cinematographic content in an accessible and democratic way.
2) REGISTRATION
2.1) The registration is online and will be free from April 01 to August 31, 2019 on the FESTHOME platform.
2.2) The Festival suggests that the filmmakers make the registration in advance and do not leave for the last hour since the festival is not responsible for any failures in sending the application form and similar problems.
2.3) All selected works will be displayed in the Festival's programming, except for extraordinary cases and omissions that will be solved by the Festival Direction.
2.4) Films must be made by Brazilian directors with HD or higher format finalization.
2.5) SHORT FILMS (up to 20 minutes) and FEATURE FILMS (minimum of 70 minutes) of the genres animation, documentary and fiction will be accepted.
3) SELECTION
3.1) The selection of the films will be carried out by a jury appointed by the Direction of the Festival.
3.2) The result of the selection will be announced on 12/19/2019 on the official website of the Festival and by electronic mail to all those responsible for the registration of the films.
4) AWARDS
4.1) The films will be judged by public vote on the official website of the Festival until 23:59:59 on 12/30/2019. The winner of each category will be the one with the highest number of votes.
4.2) The categories to be awarded are: BEST MOVIE, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST PHOTOGRAPHY, BEST SOUND TRACK, BETTER EDITION, BEST ANIMATION, BEST DOCUMENTARY.
5) GENERAL PROVISIONS
5.1) The film registered grants the rights of exhibition of the work during the days 26 to 30 of December of 2019.
5.2) The Festival's organization reserves the right to display portions of the participating films for dissemination purposes in any media during the period from 19 to 30 December 2019.
5.3) The Festival Management may at any time withdraw the film that does not comply with the norms of this Regulation or distort them.
5.4) The missing cases will be solved by the Festival Direction.
5.5) The registration procedures bind the participant to the full acceptance of this Regulation.
