This event seeks to show and create a culture around mountain cinema, so that people fall in love with their surroundings, learn to take care of the mountains, and see the number of alternatives that exist to enjoy them. Within this event, short films and feature films related to mountain sports and activities will be screened. The first event of its kind in the municipalities of Manizales and Villamaría.

Theme: Short Films for Conservation
We invite participants to share short films that highlight the beauty and challenges of mountains, with a focus on the conservation of these valuable ecosystems. The shorts can address topics such as the protection of mountain ecosystems, wildlife, sustainability, climate change, and the relationship between local communities and mountains, among others. Through the power of cinema, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting mountains. Participants have the opportunity to combine captivating narratives, striking visuals, and inspiring messages to promote reflection and action in favor of conservation

Allowed genres: Documentary, fiction, animation, and experimental.

The selected works will be given proof of selection (this does not imply prizes in cash or kind)
