FIDEMA only accepts short films under 18' long, and only with Spanish Subtitles.

The theme of the festival are the six basic emotions: sadness, anger, happiness, disgust, surprise and fear.

This edition will be adapted to the sanitary conditions of the country's covid.

To confirm

1- International filmmakers can participate with short films under 18 minutes long. 3 minutes shortfilms are allowed.

2- Subtitles in Spañish are obligatory to participate.

3- The short films must be related to 1 of the 6 basic emotions (Anger, Disgust, Fear, Happiness, Sadness and Surprise), or one of the emotions must be clear in the message of the film.

4- One filmmaker can present only 2 short films with spanish subtitles only.

5- If you submit your short film it means you are accepting our terms and conditions.

6- The inscription has a cost for international and national films.

7- The inscription can only be done in Festhome.

8- deadline for submition in Festhome will be August 08th (2022).

9- The short films can be used by the organization for several activities that will be included in the festival.

10- The organization of the festival will do a pre-selection of the short films that will be handed, later on, to the jury, for the competition.

11- The Jury will choose the winners in the categories: Best International Short Film, Best National Film (Argentina) and Best students films (Argentina). The awards will be a certificate for each categories of competition, signed by the members of the jury, and cinematography services.

12- If your shortfilm infringes copyright rules the festival will not be responsable for any third institution actions.
