Breaking away from traditional norms, Frame by Sound presented by Vents Magazine offer patrons a unique and groundbreaking experience of its own kind. By taking it online, FxS reaches audiences around the world in an effort to bring a personal film and music festival in the comfort of their own home. Various ways to experience are via computer, mobile, ROKU/APPLE TV.

Film enthusiasts can get live backstage access and interviews and interact with panelists in special online Q&A sessions, workshops, panels featuring filmmakers, cast members and entertainment industry professionals. This particular year (2017) we count with a very interesting jury board. More names might come later on:

-Screenwriter Javier Gullon (Enemy, Darren Aronofsky produced film Glare, HBO's Glare)

-Director of Photography Nicolas Bolduc (Enemy, Aloft)

-Film and Music Critic Patrick O'Heffernan (Spirit Awards)

-PR Angie Burns (D Films Corps, includes The Neon Demon, The Wall...)

-Actor Brandon K. Hampton (Better Call Saul)

-Music Composer Zack Hemsey

We also count with full support of Chilean international page Mundo Peliculas (530+ likes and counting)

Cash Prizes: 1,250$

Prizes would be announced throughout this and next year. So stay tune.

-Winners for the online film competition will receive a trophy.

-We are also aiming to split online tickets revenues with the filmmakers that had their films officially selected.

There's no restrictions or too more requirements. Once you get selected we will contact you and ask you if you would like to have the short or film part of our online festival as well.

As for films, we have no restriction neither. You would keep with all your rights and in case we will like to have it featured in our online platform we will discuss that as well. It will not be subscription VOD nor will be posted for free in Youtube and the likes but in our platform.

Film can be in any original language but English or Spanish subtitles are required.

-Films in competition might be added to our closed and protected online platform for our online audience to vote. Though it's not a requirement, it's recommended for those aiming to win the "Audience Choice" award.

-We don´t require any exclusivity or anything like that, however be sure to check out other contests and film festivals you are applying before submitting.
