Funny Under Fifteen Minutes is a comedy Film Festival for comedy films fifteen minutes or less.

The 2nd Annual Funny Under Fifteen Minutes is the Comedy Film Festival that compliments our long running Hamilton New York International Film Festival and we are looking for short films Fifteen minutes in duration or less that will make the World laugh out loud.


Over the Past 17 years we realized how much people like to laugh. So with that in mind and some prodding from our festival friends we launched the Funny Under Fifteen Minutes Comedy Film Festival as an addition to The Hamilton New York International Film Festival.


The weekend Festival will hold Q & A sessions after the screenings, panel discussions and meet and greet opportunities for our filmmakers and film fans to connect.

Hamilton is located in the beautiful Chenango Valley region of Central New York. Long known as weekend retreat for city dwellers from New York, Boston, Ottawa, and Toronto, the Chenango Valley boasts some of the most beautiful vistas in North America and has gained an international reputation for its cultural events, outdoor activities and academic institutions.

The winning filmmakers will be presented with a Physical Award, recognized as Wicked Funny Filmmakers and given a waiver for the next edition of the Funny Under Fifteen Minutes Film Festival.

All films must be 15 minutes or less.

The Official Selections will be announced on February 21st, 2026.

Our Funny Under Fifteen Minutes Selection Committee will select Two Wicked Funny Winners in both the (1) Comedy Category and the (2) Student Comedy Category.
