Getafe en Corto is a short film festival organized by Onda Vecinal Getafe, in collaboration with the Getafe City Council.

It will be held on March 27, 28 and 29, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., at the Getafe Market Space. Pl. de la Constitución, 5, 28901 Getafe, Madrid

Jury Award for Best Short Film.

Jury Award - for Best Direction.

Jury Award - fur Best Performance.

Premio del Jurado - Mejor Cortometraje Internacional.

Audience Award.

Getafe participation rules in Corto 2025

Short films that meet these requirements may participate:

1. Short films of no longer than 13 minutes will be admitted.

2. Short films sent to Getafe en Corto must have been produced after August 2024.

3. Short films of all themes and genres are admitted.

4. All selected works will be eligible for the Jury Prize for Best Getafe Short Film. This prize will consist of a statuette of "La Chavela".


5. All selected works will compete for the Jury Prize - Best Direction.

6. All selected works will be eligible for the Best Performance Award.

7. More than one short film can be submitted.

8. Participation implies acceptance of the above rules, whose interpretation and application corresponds to the organization.

9. As a necessary requirement for selection, the attendance of at least one member of the team is required to present the short film.

10. Whoever owns the rights to the short film authorizes the free reproduction of images and inserts (max. 1 minute) of their short film in the press, television and publications in the promotion of Getafe en Corto.

11. A registration fee of €6 will be charged for the reception of each national short film and €24 in the case of international works.

12. Any change in these bases due to error or omission will be made public immediately and will have retroactive value.

13. It will be an accessible festival for deaf people, so it is mandatory that the short films registered have subtitles in Spanish.

1. Getafe en Corto is a short film festival that will take place on March 27, 28 and 29, 2025, at 8:30 p.m., at the Espacio Mercado in Getafe. Pl. de la Constitución, 5, 28901 Getafe, Madrid

2. Short films must be sent through the Festhome platform.
