Festival Internacional de cine de Ibagué ()

The Ibero-American competition of the IBAGUÉ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL will be characterized by selecting the best of Spanish-speaking cinema, where directors, producers and professional or empirical filmmakers, Ibero-Americans who have made audiovisual works in Fiction, Documentary and experimental formats, whose theme is focus on the narration and / or expression of situations that represent the realities of Ibero-American daily life through the cinematographic lens.
Materials in short film format whose length does not exceed 20 minutes for short films and 100 minutes for feature films may participate, in this category (1) short film by category will be rewarded with the recognition “BEST IBEROAMERICAN SHORT FILM” award that will consist of statuette and Certificate that accredit
- Only gender materials will be accepted; Fiction, Documentary and Experimental.
- Materials that are public on the Internet will not be accepted (Only those protected under code)
In the Ibero-American category a group composed of three experts in cinematography will make the final selection (2) short films by genre, which will directly become part of our official selection in projections.
The final qualification will be carried out under a strict order of parameters, having as reference table of qualifications determined by the following points;
• Technical quality 20%
• Narrative Quality 20%
• Relevance and value of the Iberoamerican present in the film 30%
• Acting quality% 20
• Quality of promotional material 10%

For the selection of the winning short film, the following percentages will be taken into account for the final verdict:
40% audience award
60% Jury Qualification

The short films will receive comments from the jury about their final decision.

The shorts finally selected must send the projection authorization form (supplied by the festival), the advertising material (Stills of the film) and final projection copy in DVD or BLU RAY format with the following characteristics:

Thanks to the rise of filmmaking that has been experienced in recent years in the department of Tolima, IBAGUÉ INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL through this category seeks to reward the best of the cinema made in the department of Tolima.
