Festival start: 15 August 2025      Festival end: 17 August 2025

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary, and in the spirit of gotong-royong (the community spirit) that forms the foundation of our nation—SITFE (Singapore Indian Theatre and Film Explorers) and BLACSPICE MEDIA (Singapore) presents indBOX FILM FESTIVAL (iBFF), Singapore's first locally spearheaded Indian Film Festival. This 3-Day festival (15-17 Aug 2025) is dedicated to paying homage to, and celebrating, Indian narratives made exclusively by Singaporean filmmakers. Through this initiative, we aim to highlight the significant role that Indian stories play in Singapore’s multicultural tapestry and contribute to our national cultural identity.

Cash Prizes: 1,000$

1) There is a cash prize of S$1000, EXCLUSIVELY ONLY for the 25-30secs AI Opener Video Competition.

Get more information about the festival from: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdOCxT62LUuGT_JjXTOMu7edlb5C5Einrv70FcSL3nj7jeNBw/viewform

The submission for the 25-30secs AI Opener Video Competition is FREE.

1) By submitting your film to this festival, you are confirming that you hold all the copyrights to the film (eg, music score, script).

2) By submitting your film to this festival, you are giving full permission to iBFF to use any portion of the short film(s) submitted, for marketing purposes of the festival.

3) By taking part in this festival and if your submission is from Singapore, your short film has the opportunity to be part of indBOX.SG, an online depository of Indian short films made in Singapore. Separate contracts will be signed with the filmmaker whose films are to be shortlisted. Should you just want your short film to be screened during the festival period in Singapore, you can also mention that in your application.

4) There might be a possibility where iBFF might make its way to India within this year after its launch in Singapore. Should that happen, SITFE and BLACSPICE MEDIA , the organisers of the festival, have the right to choose which films should be featured in the festival that is happening in India.

5) All films submitted MUST have English subtitles. Films without English subtitles will not be considered for any screening within the festival.

Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
