Welcome to Indie House! We are an IMDb-qualifying international film festival focused on independent filmmakers, providing a unique platform for your work to shine. Our festival structure is designed to prioritize filmmaker recognition, with a higher percentage of nominations compared to other festivals.

What sets us apart is our inclusive approach. We believe everyone deserves the same opportunities, regardless of when they submit their project. We do not make selections until all entries have been received, ensuring that every submission has a fair chance. Additionally, we offer an “All Categories” option, which provides a cost-effective way for filmmakers to submit their projects, and as a thank you, we offer promotional posts on our social media channels.

At Indie House, we have no production year limit. We believe in second—and even third—chances, allowing filmmakers to submit older projects alongside their most recent work. We also support filmmakers who have their projects on YouTube or other online platforms, and this does not disqualify their film from the festival.

1.Language:
We accept films and scripts in English, Spanish, Italian, and French. If your project is in another language, we will require subtitles in English, Spanish, Italian, or French.

2.Specifications:

Feature film: over 60 minutes

Short film: up to 60 minutes

Series/TV Pilot/Web Media: Unlimited

Documentary: Unlimited

Music Videos: Unlimited

Script: Short scripts up to 30 pages

Feature scripts up to 180 pages

3.Year of Production:
No production year limit. We accept projects from all years.

4.No Territorial Premiere Required:
We do not require a territorial premiere, so you may submit your project even if it has already premiered in our country.

5.Promotional Use:
Indie House (in certain cases) may use images from your project for promotional purposes only—such as creating a video featuring the festival’s best projects or posting a frame on Instagram. This use is strictly promotional, never commercial, and limited to a maximum duration of one minute.

6.Screening Fees:
The festival does not pay screening fees. During the live event, we screen the winners of Best Trailer, Best Music Video, Best Short Film, and Best Feature Film.

7.Copyright:
You guarantee that you hold the rights to your work and that you are not infringing any copyright. Indie House is not responsible for any copyright violations committed by the participant.

8.Organizers’ Rights:
The organizers reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule dates, venue, awards, and categories without prior consent. They may also remove categories if the minimum number of participants is not met.

9.No Fee Waivers:
Submission fees are non-refundable.

10.Acceptance of Terms:
Submitting a project implies acceptance of these rules.
