Cedar City's very first film festival was founded by independent filmmaker Jared Lombardo, Indies and IPAs aims to combine two of life's greatest pleasures: beer and cinema. With six delicious beers on tap courtesy of Policy Kings Brewery and a lineup of excellent short films, this 21+ event will surely be a night to remember. Tickets to the event are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and are very limited so do not delay! Our selection of films will demonstrate a mastery of the form with a focus on telling impactful and entertaining stories. The winner of the "Judge's Choice Award" will win a prize of $150 and the winner of the "Audience Favorite Award" voted on by those in attendance of the event will win a $50 prize. The event will also feature a special screening of Jared Lombardo's film "Thereafter". Our aim is to impact the community and the art of cinema while having an amazing time doing it!
Judge's Choice Award - $150 - This is awarded to the best filmed named by our experienced panel of judges.
Audience Favorite Award - $50 - This is awarded to the favorite film voted by our audience attending the event.
Must be 21+ to enter.
All films must be short format. Films longer than 20 minutes will not be accepted into the festival.
Films of any genre are accepted.
This is a highly competitive festival with only ten films selected and two films will be awarded prizes.
Being awarded the Judge's Choice Award will disqualify the film from Audience Favorite Award contention.
