FANTASTIC BENIDORM was created in 2025 to reward the best short, medium-length and feature-length films made during the year. This is an online event whose basis is the awards ceremony. ​ The event accepts any type of genre; Horror, Science fiction, fantasy, dramas, comedies, suspense, musicals, documentaries, animation... ​ The most sought-after prize of the event is the BENID'OR, which includes a cash prize and a statuette. Any of the selected works may be eligible for this award, both non-short films and feature films. "

Each winning short film in its category will receive a personalized diploma.

Short Films 2025

1- All productions made between June 1, 2024, and May 15, 2025, are eligible to participate.

2- All genres will be accepted.

3- Each filmmaker may submit as many works as they deem appropriate.

4- Works may be submitted in different categories.

5- The jury's decision will be announced online on June 15, 2026.

6- The maximum length for each short film will be 25 minutes.

7- Non-Spanish-language works must be subtitled in Spanish.

MEDIUM-length AND FEATURE FILMS

1- All works produced between January 1, 2025, and May 15, 2026, are eligible to participate.

2- Works may be of any genre.

3- Each medium-length film will have a running time between 35 and 55 minutes. Feature films will have a running time between 60 and 120 minutes.

4- Each filmmaker may submit as many works as they wish.

5- The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2026. The jury's decision will be announced on June 15, 2026.
