FANTASTIC BENIDORM was created in 2025 to reward the best short, medium-length and feature-length films made during the year.

This is an online event whose basis is the awards ceremony.

The event accepts any type of genre; Horror, Science fiction, fantasy, dramas, comedies, suspense, musicals, documentaries, animation...

​

The most sought-after prize of the event is the BENID'OR, which includes a cash prize and a statuette. Any of the selected works may be eligible for this award, both non-short films and feature films.

MAIN PRIZE "FANTASTIC BENIDORM 2025"

* This award is awarded to the best work of the year, among all the award-winning works in the different sections and categories (also including medium-length and feature-length films).

BENID'OR - Trophy + €500

Short films 2025
1- All productions made between June 1, 2024 and June 1, 2025 may participate.

2- All types of genres will be admitted.

3- Each director may present as many works as he or she deems appropriate.

4- The works may be presented in different categories;

*Official Section *Animation *International *Documentary *Valencian Community *Terror

5- Registration will be carried out exclusively by Festhome. Each section may contain a registration fee.

6- Deadline for submission of works on May 15, 2025. Notification of selected works on June 6, 2025.

7- The jury's decision will be issued online on June 15, 2025.

8- The organization may use fragments of the short films for promotion.

​9- The maximum duration of each short film will be 30 minutes.

10- Non-Spanish speaking works will have to be subtitled in Spanish.

Medium films 2025
1- All productions made between June 1, 2024 and June 1, 2025 may participate.

2- All types of genres will be admitted.

3- Each director may present as many works as he or she deems appropriate.

4- The works may be presented in different MEDIUM FILMS category.

5- Registration will be carried out exclusively by Festhome. Each section may contain a registration fee.

6- Deadline for submission of works on May 15, 2025. Notification of selected works on June 6, 2025.

7- The jury's decision will be issued online on June 15, 2025.

8- The organization may use fragments of the short films for promotion.

​9 - The duration of the medium-length films will have a minimum duration of 35 minutes and a maximum of 50 minutes.

10- Non-Spanish speaking works will have to be subtitled in Spanish.

Feature Films 2025
1- All productions made between June 1, 2024 and June 1, 2025 may participate.

2- All types of genres will be admitted.

3- Each director may present as many works as he or she deems appropriate.

4- The works may be presented in different categories of FEATURE FILMS.

5- Registration will be carried out exclusively by Festhome. Each section may contain a registration fee.

6- Deadline for submission of works on May 15, 2025. Notification of selected works on June 6, 2025.

7- The jury's decision will be issued online on June 15, 2025.

8- The organization may use fragments of the films for promotion.

9- The minimum duration of feature films will be 60 minutes and maximum 120 minutes.

10- Non-Spanish speaking works will have to be subtitled in Spanish.
