Our online festival for movie trailers includes trailers of all kinds: narrative fiction,documentary, book, web series, cameraphone. Trailers are displayed for your fans who can vote for the people's choice award. Trailers can be for a completed film or those in the dream stage.

Cash Prizes: 3,250$

There is a grand prize of $2500 and a people's choice prize of $500. For each of the other categories, there is a $250 prize.

In submitting your information to IMTF, you agree to the following rules:

ELIGILITY: The Festival is open to everyone. If you’re under 18, you will need to include a parent’s name and contact info.

TRAILER REQUIREMENTS
1. The trailer must be for a movie that has no distribution deal.

2. The trailer must represent one of the following categories: fiction film, documentary, web series, or book.

3. The trailer may be for a finished work or for a work still in development (faux trailer).

4. The trailer may be for any genre.

5. Length: The trailer may run no longer than four minutes (4:00).

6. Language: If the trailer is not in English, it must include legible English subtitles.

7. Title: The title of work represented must appear somewhere in the trailer.

8. Rating: The trailer must qualify for no more than PG13 as defined by the MPAA. Our staff will have the final say on whether your video qualifies. If you’re unsure, email us first at info@IMTF.com

9. Originality: At least 80% of the footage in your trailer must originate with you; 20% may be stock footage. We do not accept mash-ups. Exception: Documentaries may have up to 50% footage from other sources.

10. Legal: You must have written permission to use performances of people who are recognizable (model releases). And you must have permission from copyright holders to use music and other works. We will ask for proof only if you qualify for a prize.





  Festhome holds accountable fees festivals by holding the payment of the fees of most newer festivals until they have viewed the submissions, held their festivals and other methods.
