The Ko&digital: Festival Internacional de Cine Solidario project starts its Call for entries for short films (fiction, documentary, animation) which focus on social, environmental and solidarity related themes.

Awards:

- Best film of social theme.
- Best film of environmental theme.
- Best film of solidariry theme,
- Best actor.
- Best actress.
- Best original screenplay.
- Best cinematography.
- Best original music soundtrack.

1. All and any individual or colective film-makers are allowed to participate.


2. Submissions deadline is October, 1st, 2016.


3. Films can be silent or with dialogues, presented in either Spanish or Catalan language. Films presented in languages other than Spanish or Catalan must be submitted with Spanish or Catalan subtitles.


4. No films submitted to previous editions of Ko&digital: Festival Internacional de Cine Solidario will be accepted.


5. All entrants will be notified by email as to the outcome of the selection.


6. Once awards are chosen, all selected films will be shown at the following website: http://www.kofestivalsolidari.com/.


7. All entrants authorise Ko&digital to distribute and exhibit publicly their submitted films and images, which under no circumstance will be used with commercial purposes. Films' directors will be notified should their films be used in the manner described.


8. Submitted screeners will not be returned to their authors.


9. The jurors will be students, teachers and the audience from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.


10. The jury may refuse to give out any and all of the awards. The jury's decision is final.


11. Awards:

- Best film of social theme.
- Best film of environmental theme.
- Best film of solidariry theme,
- Best actor.
- Best actress.
- Best original screenplay.
- Best cinematography.
- Best original music soundtrack.


12. All awarded films will be publicly exhibited.


13. The festival organisers will resolve any situation not covered in these Rules and Regulations.
