We are organizing the 11th Lan Party in Castellbisbal on September 7 and 8, 2024.

Our Lan Party will bring together video game, arcade and technology enthusiasts from all over the region to enjoy a unique online experience and compete in exciting tournaments. In addition to conferences and talks on topics related to the event.

Within the event we have a short film showcase section with a single “Freak Film” category in which we show the most relevant short films of blood, sweat, guts, geekiness, comedy and tackiness to entertain our attendees.

Public voting will be held to determine the best works and they will be announced on social media.

Rules

-. Short films from all over the world are accepted

-. All works must be in Spanish or Catalan or have subtitles in one of the two languages.

-. You can participate individually or collectively. Any number of short films per participant is accepted.

-. The staff will have permission to project any of the works received during the festival. No work will be published on our website, or on our social networks, or shared with third parties.

-. Registrations will be made through one of the Festival's associated platforms: FESTHOME.

-. Short films must be registered by September 1st at the latest.

-. An internal committee will evaluate the productions that meet the minimum requirements and decide which of them can be part of the show.

-. All works must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes including credits. We accept works produced in any year.

-. All selected shorts will be announced on social networks.

-. Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules.

-. Submitting short films grants the organization the right to promote the pieces, using only partial reproduction in their broadcast (in no case will the pieces be displayed in full on any social network: Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube, etc...).

-. Works that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted.

-. The organization reserves the right to modify the terms, notifying the participants in advance, and the right to cancel the competition in case of low participation.
