From March 6 to Sunday 26 you can sign up for the Short Film Mode of the Mairena Creativa series

This year we incorporate novelties in the short film competition. We create the categories of Fiction, Documentary and Animation, each with an own prize of equal amount, and we maintain the prize for the best short film of municipal authorship. The form of presentation can be seen in the bases.

Los premios por menciones del Jurado quedarán a discreción del mismo para establecer las diferentes categorías.

1. Participants
All those born or resident in the national territory between the ages of 14 and 30 may participate.

Young minors, must have the written permission of their parent / guardian, to be able to take part in the contest (Annex I).

The person who submits the registration must be the person who has directed the short film, having to be clearly specified in the corresponding technical file, as well as in the credit titles of the short film if it has them.

2. Registration Deadline
The registration period will be from 6 to 26 March 2017

Entries must be submitted by e-mail to mairena.creativa@mairenadelaljarafe.org, enclosing in the message:

· Link for the viewing of the short film, using the Vimeo platform, and the password to access it.
· Registration form in .PDF file with complete information about the applicant and the technical file.
· Identity document scanned.

3. Short features
The short film can not be more than two years old.

In the case of being selected for the final and projection, the poster will be requested to be sent in A3 format and the download link of the short film in a resolution of at least 720p (1280x720p) being the extension of the .mov or .mp4 file and with the Codec H264, being able to use any file hosting website (wetransfer, mega, drive, ...).

The duration of the short film can not exceed 15 minutes.

The selection committee and the jury will meet the following evaluation criteria:

O Originality of the short film.
O Technical quality.
O Thematic used.
Or Have at least one young person in the cast.
O Other criteria considered important by jury members.

4. Registration
To register, you must:

O Filled entry form.
O Title of the work, technical and artistic data, brief synopsis.
O Authorization Form (Under 18)

5. The Jury will also grant the mentions it deems appropriate (address, script, interpretation, production, etc.)

6. To qualify for the Mairena Prize it is necessary to be registered or registered in Mairena del Aljarafe. Relevant checks shall be made that this requirement is met, at least one month prior to the presentation of the document, by the persons who have marked this condition on their registration form.

7. Finalist participants must confirm attendance at the awards ceremony and attend to qualify for a prize. If you can not attend, someone can go in your place whenever it is notified in advance, and in sufficient time. Data will be taken from people who attend the Gala prior.

8. The Jury may leave deserted on the basis of its criteria any of the prizes.

9. The screening of short finalists selected by the jury will take place at the "Villa de Mairena" Theater.
