Festival start: 21 September 2025      Festival end: 21 September 2025

We present the Memoriale Feliciotto short film festival.
The competing works will be judged through this platform, and the awards ceremony and screening of the shorts will be held in Giardini Naxos, in Piazzetta dei Limoni, on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The Festival was founded with the aim of highlighting new talent, promoting social cinema, and celebrating the connection with Sicily. The Festival is dedicated to the memory of Carmelo Feliciotto, a lover of cinema and culture.
From a young age, Carmelo Feliciotto demonstrated a particular sensitivity to social and political issues. An activist in the ranks of the Young Communists of Giardini Naxos, he distinguished himself for his commitment to promoting the values of justice and social equality, which characterized the 1970s. Music and arthouse cinema have been his great passions. Professionally, he has conceived and implemented important music and video projects about Sicily, with particular reference to cultural and popular traditions. In the late 1990s, Carmelo was appointed councilor for sport, tourism, and entertainment in Giardini Naxos, leaving an indelible mark on his dedication, competence, integrity, and great ability.

The winners of each category will receive an official recognition plaque.
