The University Film and Audiovisual Exhibition (MUCA) is a festival dedicated to exhibiting and awarding works produced by students from all areas related to audiovisual.
The event, which takes place in the city of São Paulo, is a space for the exchange, exhibition and premiere of university audiovisual productions.
Held at Anhembi Morumbi University by professors and students of the institution.
Who can participate?
Undergraduate and graduate students from all courses and universities in Brazil and around the world.

Registrations for MUCA are free and can be made online through the Festhome website.
Objective
MUCA aims to encourage university audiovisual production, reveal new talents in Brazilian cinema and promote the exchange of ideas and experiences among students from all over the country.
Dedicated sessions
MUCA will have dedicated sessions for the screening of short films, music videos and nanofilms.

History of the Exhibition
The University Film and Audiovisual Exhibition (MUCA) is a festival dedicated to showcasing and awarding works produced by students from all fields related to audiovisual. The event, which took place in 2025 at the SPCINE Circuit and Anhembi Morumbi University, was established as a space for the exchange, exhibition, and premiere of university audiovisual productions from Brazil and around the world.
In 2025, MUCA received nearly 400 national works from across the country, with students representing more than 70 educational institutions, and entries from all five Brazilian regions.
International entries included participants from approximately 10 countries, including Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Canada, Iran, and South Korea.

1. All submissions should be made digitally. DCP or, if not possible, full HD mov or mp4 digital file.
Compositions must in 4K container resolution, either 3996x2160 (1.85/Flat) or 4096x1716 (2.39/Scope).
Full HD vídeos, must be 1920 x 1080 (16:9) or 1920 x 802 (2.39/Scope).
2. If selected to be showcased during the event, all screening copies must be received by April 1, 2024.
3. All photos provided must be clearly identified. Photos may be used for any festival promotions.
4.All entrants certify that they have been given full rights to use any and all music in their films.
5. Non-portuguese language produced films must have portuguese subtitles.
