The 2nd Audiovisual Exhibition of Film and Education. Projecting Memory, Challenging Education. 50 Years After the Coup. To be held from September 2nd to 5th, 2026 in Luján, San Miguel, Moreno, San Fernando (Province of Buenos Aires) and virtually, organized by the Department of Education of the National University of Luján, calls for the submission of short films on education and memory, 50 years after the 1976 civic-military coup in Argentina.

AWARDS

The participating short films will be selected, and then a first prize and two mentions will be awarded during the exhibition, who will receive a diploma of honor.

RULES AND REGULATIONS


The call for entries is open from May 4, 2026, for: Short films on Education and Memory.

The film's premiere date must be after January 2025. The registration deadline is July 4, 2026.

The maximum duration of short films is 30 minutes. Films must be submitted in their original language; if not Spanish, they must be submitted with Spanish subtitles.


Registration is free. Submissions can be made via Festhome platform.


SELECTION

Selected films will be notified by email.

The screening format is a downloadable, high-quality file. The films will be screened from September 2 to 5, 2026, at the various venues of the festival. The deadline for receiving the exhibition file is August 10, 2026.


JURY

The jury will be made up of: A member of the Department of Education of the National University of Luján who participates in the organizing committee of the exhibition A prominent filmmaker A member of human rights organizations Their decisions will be final.
