VII INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF FILM AND SCIENCE 2025

The International Exhibition of Cinema and Science is an event that will take place at Centro Cultural Doctor Madrazo (Santander, Spain), between the 3th and 9th of November, 2025. Is admitted any work of any genre related to science and scientific divulgation.

The objective of the exhibition is to promote the production and divulgation of works that foster the positive and progressive values ​​of science and technology, and that serve as a consultation for any type of audience. The subject is totally free and can refer to own or other people's research, hot topics in the society or scientific community, personal scientific-technical passions, basic science concepts, scientific milestones, historical figures, the science of the future or past, etc.

1. Films and short films of all nationalities, any duration and any kind of gender (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc) can be submitted. If the language it's not spanish, it will include subtitles in english or spanish.

2. deadline and platforms: The date of registration of short films will be on September 1st and will end on October 26th, 2025.

3. Selection: A selection committee will be responsible for choosing the films that will participate in the projections. Those selected will have to send a copy in .mp4 or .mov format, via digital download platforms.

4. Exhibition rights: The selected works transferred their exhibition rights only to the days of contest projection (November 2024). All the participating works may be included in the Demolden Video Project’s Audiovisual Fund, unless its author isn’t consented to when applying. In that case DEMOLDEN VIDEO PROJECT may reserve its right of reproducing the works presented (mentioning the author), in order to be seen by the Media, and showing them, but never for a commercial use.

5. Acceptance of rules: Registration of the works implies acceptance of these rules.
