We’re inviting passionate filmmakers and content creators to take part in an exciting new competition to identify and reward the most technically gifted and visually creative editors.

Each entry must include the following. We regret that any submissions which do not include these will not be considered:
1: Three Synchronised Raw Video Files
2: Edit Decision List Document
3: One Finished Edited Video

Cash Prizes: 1,600€
We will be awarding three cash prizes to our winners, in addition to screening the winning films on our site.
First Prize: $1000
Second Prize: $400
Third Prize: $200
1. General Acceptance and Eligibility
Submission implies acceptance of terms, including representation of ownership and rights to exhibit the film, and acknowledgment of no confidential relationship with the festival.
Participation in the Multicam Edit Competition implies acceptance of all these rules.
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in the Multicam Edit Competition.
The applicant confirms they have the authority or have obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in the
competition.
Only the named genre films and/or creative projects will be accepted.
Permissible works include short films , film narratives, documentaries, animation, internet content, fashion and music videos.
Internet content includes any video produced specifically for viewing over the internet.
Works can be produced at any time (no production date restrictions).
Content already distributed, online, or in post-production is accepted.
Works produced by individuals under 18 must be submitted by an authorised representative.
Entrants may enter once per category. Entering more than one film per category may result in the disqualification of all the individual’s entries.
Entrants will require a gmail email address to enter.
2. Ownership, Copyright, and Legal Responsibilities
Films submitted must be the entrant’s original work and must not infringe on any third-party rights.
Contestants agree that they have obtained all necessary copyright permissions (music, sound, images, etc.).
Submitters agree to indemnify the competition against any claims arising from the exhibition of the film.
The Multicam Edit Competition organisers will not be held liable for any copyright violations.
3. Usage Rights and Promotion
Submitters grant the competition rights to use film footage, stills, titles, and information for promotional and research purposes.
All submitted films and footage must be clearly labeled and may be used in any competition promotions.
The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in the Multicam Edit Competition and make it available for screening and research. Under NO circumstance will the authorities of Multicam Edit Competition will entertain or be answerable to anyone else apart from the applicant.
4. Screening and Judging
Judges’ decisions are final; no discourse or correspondence regarding their decisions will be entered into.
Judges’ screenings will be private and not public.
Only selected winners (one winner and two runners-up) will be screened on the competition website.
Only winning films will be informed via email and listed on the website/social media.
The judges reserve the right to disqualify any film.
The organisers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
5. Communication and Correspondence
All communication will be conducted via email only. No phone call inquiries will be entertained.
Please provide authorised email addresses and respond to emails promptly.
Under NO circumstances will the authorities of Multicam Edit Competition be answerable to anyone except the applicant.
6. Behaviour and Conduct
All entrants must be respectful toward other participants, editors, filmmakers, and competition staff.
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior (in person, on social media, or any format) will result in disqualification and may lead to legal action.
7. Content Restrictions
No content that glorifies, advocates or features hate, violence, bigotry (racism, homophobia, religious intolerance), etc.
No adult content or pornography will be accepted.
8. Competition Management and Discretion
The Multicam Edit Competition reserves the right to:
Change any stated information, eligibility criteria, submission guidelines, and terms and conditions.
Not screen any film for any valid reason.
Take all decisions about the competition.
Make necessary changes to regulations or scheduling.
Disqualify entries or withhold prizes.
Refuse withdrawal of submissions unless mutually agreed.
9. Language Requirements
Entries may be in any language (or none), but the Edit Decision List must be in English.

Like mountain biking, multiple mounted cameras on your person, friend, a drone or on a mount you are approaching. Again, action and editing skills are key, but telemetry and other data would be beneficial.

From cooking tutorials to unboxing, highlight the details from every perspective. Other subjects could include interviewing an interesting person, reviewing a new product, or an instructional video. Where you mount your 3 cameras is up to you, but interesting angles that capture the key events, and how you cut between them, are what we’ll be looking at.
