1. General Eligibility

Entrants must have full rights or permission to submit the work, including all necessary approvals from rights holders or producers.

Submissions are open to original short films, documentaries, narratives, animations, music and fashion videos, and internet content created for online distribution.

No content that glorifies, advocates or features hate, violence, bigotry (racism, homophobia, religious intolerance), etc. will be accepted. No adult content or pornography will be accepted.

Films may be produced at any time and may already be published or in post-production.

Entrants under 18 must have a submission made on their behalf by an authorised adult.

Only one entry per category is allowed; multiple entries in the same category may result in disqualification.

A Gmail address is required to enter.

Entries must be received by the end of the day on 31 October 2025.

2. Ownership & Legal Responsibility
All submitted works must be the entrant’s original creation and free of third-party rights violations.

Entrants are responsible for obtaining and securing all copyright permissions for music, footage, images, and other content.

The entrant indemnifies the organisers against any legal claims arising from the submitted content.

The competition assumes no liability for copyright infringement or disputes.

3. Usage Rights
By submitting, entrants grant the Multicam Edit Competition a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use submitted content—including footage, stills, titles, and related materials—for promotional, educational, and research purposes, in any media, without further notice or compensation.

All submissions must be clearly labeled and may be archived or reused in future marketing or research.

4. Screening & Judging
Entries will be reviewed privately by the judging panel.

The final 3 overall winners (1 winner and 2 runners-up across all categories) will be determined by the judging panel.

Judges’ decisions regarding shortlisting are final. No correspondence will be entered into.

The organisers reserve the right to withhold prizes or disqualify entries for any reason.

A minimum of 50 entries must be received by Multicam Edit Competition for the competition to run and prizes to be awarded.

5. Communication
All communication will take place via email. Entrants must provide a valid Gmail address and respond to messages promptly.

Only the entrant will be considered the authorised contact; no third-party enquiries will be answered.

6. Behaviour
Entrants must conduct themselves respectfully toward other participants, organisers, and judges.

Disrespectful, disruptive, or abusive behaviour – including on social media – may result in disqualification and legal action.

The competition reserves the right to discount votes and disqualify related films if such activities are detected.

7. Content Standards
Submissions must not include content that promotes or depicts hate, violence, racism, homophobia, religious intolerance, or pornography.

Entries in breach of these standards will be disqualified.

All video submissions must be comprised solely of originally shot footage. The use of AI-powered tools to edit, enhance, or create any part of the video is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

8. Competition Discretion
The Multicam Edit Competition reserves the right to:
Modify eligibility, submission guidelines, or terms at any time.

Reject or withdraw any submission at its discretion.
Decline to award prizes or screen entries without obligation.

Make changes to judging processes or competition scheduling.

Refuse withdrawal of submissions after entry, unless agreed upon.

Cancel the competition, without allocating any prizes, if less than 50 entries are received.

9. Language
Submissions may be in any language (or none), but your Edit Decision List must be in English.
