The annual festival welcomes entries across all genres including feature films, shorts, documentaries, animations, music videos, ads, web series and experimental works. With an international jury and a mission to connect audiences to stories spanning all seven continents, 7CIFF stands as a true celebration of worldwide cinematic excellence.

7CIFF features a online Film Market where filmmakers, producers, distributors, and sales agents come together to explore collaborations and distribution deals. The festival also organizes networking sessions, panel discussions, and Q&A events, allowing participants to interact directly with international industry professionals. By combining competition with networking and business opportunities, 7CIFF serves as a complete platform for both emerging and established filmmakers aiming for a global reach.

03. Films must be subtitled in English.

04. Films participated in 7Continents International Film Festival earlier editions are not eligible for participation in 2025.

05. Year of production & accepted movie duration:

- Year of production: Jan-2023 onwards
- Feature Films/Feature Animation/Feature Documentary: 61 min to 180 min (more than 60 min)
- Short Film/Short Documentary/Short Animation: up-to 60min
- Music Video: up-to 7 min

06. 7CIFF-25 stages/process:

• Entry submission as per rules & regulations.
• Notification of shortlisted regular entries by the festival office on 12 Sept 2025 & shortlisted late entries notification on 16 Sept 2025.
• Delegate registration to attend 7CIFF-25. All filmmakers must have registered as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees, which include lunch, tea/coffee with cookies & master classes.
• Festival movies screening & workshops followed by award ceremony in Mumbai, India on 27 Sept 2025.

07. The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.

08. 7CIFF-25 does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.

09. The actual postal charges are applicable for delivery of certificates/ awards which may be paid by filmmakers.

10. Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however festival director reserve the rights to disqualify any film on certain grounds.

11. By submitting movie to 7CIFF-25, filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.
