Now that digital video has become the standard medium, the internet has become a friend of the independent filmmaker. We want to help make silver screen dreams come true, so we're giving away $2,000 to the best short film that gets submitted to us.

ELIGIBILITY
This competition is open to any independent or student filmmaker in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Mexico or India. Works will be considered for competition only if they are of a total running time of 5 minutes or less, and were completed after January 1, 2014. Our committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any project.

SUBMISSIONS
Films can only be submitted to MyProjectorLamps by providing a link to your short film on YouTube or Vimeo in the entry form. You should also include a link to www.myprojectorlamps.com/contest.html in the video description on YouTube.

A completed entry form must be submitted with each project. Multiple submissions by the same director and/or Production Company are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate completed form. Unsigned entry forms will be rejected.

The entry must also include the following: film description (50 words or less), complete production credits, film logline, director's headshot, and a short director's bio (50 words or less).

By submitting this material and signing the release form, you acknowledge MyProjectorLamps' right to use any material for commercial use.

JUDGING
Entries for the MyProjectorLamps Short Film Contest will be judged based on the number of votes they receive. The entry with the most votes will win the grand prize. First runner up will be the entry with the second most votes, and second runner up will be the entry with the third most votes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Entrants will be required to, and must sign and submit, an Entry Agreement. The Entry Agreement and Certification Statement are available at: www.MyProjectorLamps.Com. The Entry Agreement must be signed on behalf of all members of the Entrant, and each member hereby authorizes, and by participating herein further authorizes, the ER to so sign on their behalf.

Upon submission of the video on Festhome please email a copy of the signed Entry Agreement directly to: submissions@myprojectorlamps.com. Please include "Short Film Contest" in the subject line of your email.
