Ojo Indómito ()

The Ojo Indómito International Film Festival is a platform dedicated to independent and auteur cinema, promoting a critical, territorial, and socially engaged perspective. We seek independent works produced outside the major film industries, with a particular interest in memory, human rights, and the realities of communities and their territories.

Categories

Fiction and Documentary:Works with a free, critical, or community-oriented approach.

Children’s and Family Cinema: Audiovisual stories created for children and family audiences.

Animation: Animated productions using any technique or format.

Experimental and Other Formats: Alternative audiovisual languages, artistic explorations, and hybrid works.

Mountain, Nature and Territory Cinema: Stories about life in the mountains, adventure sports, natural environments, rural life, and territories.

Human Rights and Memory: Works focused on the defense of fundamental rights, historical memory, and social justice.

General Requirements

Open to national and international works in short film, medium-length film, and feature film formats.

The maximum permitted duration is 120 minutes (2 hours).

Participation requirements

This year's call is open to both national and international film producers and directors.

Genre: works with rural themes, environment, wildlife, rebellion, nature, anthropology will participate.

If selected, you must send the download link of the final cut of the work in the following formats: Mov, mp4, avi.

The file must be accompanied by the poster, frame, trailer link or teaser (in case of having this material) to be diffused on our social networks.

Important: all non-Spanish-speaking international work must include subtitles in Spanish.

Finally, the selected films will be published in the festival's official catalog and will be exhibited in a hybrid way.

Declaration of acceptance of the bases

The selected participants authorize the 4th version of the Ojo Indómito Festival to use a fragment or in its entirety of the work and the complementary graphic material, for its dissemination as informative material in any media.

The selected films, once their official participation in the Ojo Indómito International Film Festival has been confirmed, will NOT be able to withdraw from the corresponding version of the contest under any point of view.

One of the copies of the films will become the property of the festival's film library, from the moment it participates. Likewise, the festival undertakes to communicate the use to the producers, always with the character of cultural dissemination.

All participants, due to the fact that they are, fully accept the above rules, as well as the resolution by the Festival organization of any unforeseen event.

These bases are subject to possible modifications and / or annexes for reasons beyond the organization's control.
