Pantalla Patagonia is a short film call and showcase that seeks to give visibility to audiovisual productions made in Patagonia and anywhere in the national territory or abroad. The event, which will take place over two days in October 2026 at a cultural center or local movie theater, is aimed at filmmakers, producers, students, and educational institutions, with no restrictions on age, nationality, or geographic origin.
The call accepts short films of up to 10 minutes, with an open theme and in formats such as fiction, documentary, experimental, or animation. In this first edition, the event will be a showcase, with no competition, and its goal is to encourage training, creative development, and the dissemination of cinema made in the south, offering a space open to the public to exhibit what is produced in the region.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SHORT FILM CALL FOR ENTRIES
1. SCOPE OF THE CALL
This call is open to audiovisual filmmakers and producers, with no restrictions on age, nationality, place of residence, or geographic origin.
Individuals of any age and audiovisual productions made anywhere in the national territory or abroad may participate, provided they comply with the requirements and conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
2. REGISTRATION deadline
The call will remain open until October 3, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Registrations received after the established deadline will not be accepted.
3. duration
Short films must not exceed 10 minutes in length (including credits).
4. SUBMISSION FORMAT
Materials must be submitted in digital .mp4 format (H.264 codec). Short films must be sent through the Festhome Platform.
5. THEME
The theme is open and may include fiction, documentary, experimental, or animation.
6. SCHOOL PARTICIPATION
Educational institutions are invited to participate with audiovisual productions made by students, encouraging training and creative development.
7. PARTICIPATION OF MINORS
In the case of works made by minors, registration must be completed by a responsible adult or by the corresponding educational institution, who must have the necessary authorizations for the participation and exhibition of the work.
8. FREE OF CHARGE
Participation in the call is completely free.
9. SELECTION
Short films will be evaluated through a selection process carried out by the organization. Narrative, creative, technical, and audiovisual production aspects will be taken into account for the selection of the works.
The selected works will be part of the official programming of the event. The organization's decision regarding the selection will be final.
10. COPYRIGHTS
Participants must hold the rights to the audiovisual and musical material used.
The organization is not responsible for third-party claims.
11. ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION
Participants authorize the organization to use fragments or images from the works for promotional purposes, respecting the corresponding credits.
12. USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The use of artificial intelligence tools in the creation of short films is permitted, provided they do not replace the main creative process of the work.
13. ACCEPTANCE
Participation in the call implies full acceptance of these terms.
14. EVENT FORMAT
The event will take place over two days (Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, 2026) at the Cultural Center or local movie theater, with screenings open to the public.

Alejandro López (Advanced student of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication).
Oscar Herrera (Advanced student of the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication).
16. DISSEMINATION
The organization will disseminate the call and the event through the media and communication channels it deems appropriate, including digital platforms, social media, media outlets, educational institutions, organizations, and institutions linked to culture and the audiovisual sector.
The organization may expand or modify the dissemination channels according to the needs and characteristics of the call.
