- BEST SHORT FILM "WINE WORLD": 1 NIGHT IN A RURAL HOUSE AND WINE TASTING FOR 4 PEOPLE.

Participation in the III PIÑEL DE ARRIBA SHORT FILM COMPETITION is open to anyone who wishes and submits their works within the following parameters:

1 . The THEME is FREE, although the inclusion of the rural world in the story plot or as a setting will be valued positively.

2 . The genre can be FICTION or ANIMATION.

3 . Priority will be given to those works that may be suitable for ALL AUDIENCES.

4 . The films presented must have an estimated duration of 15 MINUTES, including credit titles.

5 . The audio may NOT contains DIALOGUES or MONOLOGUES, except for works submitted to the “WINE WORLD” category.

6 . MUSIC, SOUND EFFECTS and AMBIENT SOUND are allowed.

7 . Any reference in a language other than SPANISH, must be SUBTiTLED in this language

8 . Any AMATEUR or PROFESSIONAL person, of any NATIONALITY can participate.

9 . There are NO AGE LIMITS. However, the films presented by a minor person must be attached with the pertinent authorization form of a tutor.

1 0 . The works presented cannot have been completed before JANUARY 1th, 2019.

1 1 . Each director may submit a MAXIMUN of 2 FILMS.

1 2 . The format in which the works will be presented will be h264 CODEC, preferably with an extension .MP4, .MOV o .MPEG. Works that for technical reasons cannot be viewed will be automatically excluded from the selection.

1 3 . The film, together with the registration form, will be uploaded through any file transfer platform (GOOGLE DRIVE, DROPBOX, WETRANSFER, ...) , by sending a link to the e-mail: cortospineldearriba@gmail.com, or with a link to VIMEO channel where the work is, with the download option enabled. The organization is not responsible for the poor or no reception of the materials.

1 4 . Each work submitted must be accompained by the REGISTRATION FORM, duly completed. This form can be found at: https://cortospineldearriba.com/ficha_de_inscripcion/.
If falsified information is found, the work will be automatically deleted.

1 5 . The producer or director of each short film must own the RIGHTS OF THE FILM presented, including the image and sound, and will be responsible for any type of claim that may be presented to that effect.

1 6 . The period of reception of works will be extended from MAY 14th to JUNE 20th, 2025, inclusive. Any work received before or after the established period will not be taken into consideration.

1 7 . The contest with the selected films will be in PIÑEL DE ARRIBA, province of Valladolid, Spain, between AUGUST 14th and 17th, 2025.

1 8 . A JURY, made up of the organization of the contest and other people directly related to the film culture and art, will be in charge of selecting a MAXIMUN of 14 FINALIST WORKS, and ONE WINNING WORK FOR EACH CATEGORY, wich will be publicly screened in an area acondicioned for viewing, during the dates proposed for the contest. The authors of the selected works will be informed of the place, date and time of the projection of their work.

1 9 . EXHIBITION RIGHTS will NOT BE PAID.

2 0 . WORKS that have been part of the OFICIAL SELECTION in PREVIOUS EDITIONS of this Contest will NOT BE ACCEPTED. Those who were not accepted in PREVIOUS EDITIONS may apply.
